Actions Are Worth More Than Words

Marketing has to come from the core of a company’s (or org’s) values. When it is contrived, your audience WILL hold you accountable.
Check out this Twitter account that is calling out the BS from companies attempting to use #InternationalWomensDay and #breakthebias2022 by retweeting them with their company’s gender pay gap.
*Notice how easy it is to tell which ones are just just giving lip service - their copy/strategy is the worst!

Time to double check that we are living our values. Brands cannot be everything to everyone, and that is true for corporate responsibility. We cannot do ALL the things - we must often choose 1-2 that are core to our values and resonate with our audience. At Vivify we are committed to speaking up for inequity and focusing women both in the organizations we work with and in our hiring practices. This looks like making sure that employees have flexibility in their work schedules, projects that will move their career forward, mentorship, and more. As we continue to grow, so will these practices.
